Supported by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union
The MAPI project supported from the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union is now in its last quarter. We will continue to meet, share knowledge and information about the adolescent work and create guidelines for other Montessori enthusiastic adolescents guides and school administrators.
At the end of 2016, the fourth meeting of the project partners took place, this time at The Montessori Place at their new site at Eason’s Green, Framfield, East Sussex. The project participants from six partner organizations discussed, for three days, how to establish Montessori adolescent programmes, created the next part of the methodology and the content of the future website and prepared data for the European Montessori adolescent inventory.
Two dissemination events will take place in 2017:
- In January we created an abstract of a workshop that will be presented at the International Montessori Congress in July in Prague. See www.montessoricongress2017.org.
- The Annual General meeting of AMI in April in Amsterdam. The Montessori Forum on Sunday will focus on the adolescent. The MAPI project will be one of many sessions on the adolescent and on adolescent education. The programme of the whole event can be found at:
