On a cold yet dry December morning, the children put on their work gloves, picked up their trowels and stepped out into the garden to plant 50 tulip bulbs for the school’s 50 at 50 challenge.
In between discussions on the part of a flower bulb, the right way to hold it, and how deep under the soil it should be placed for proper growth, the 50 bulbs were planted in troughs places around the outside space at the site. Some of the parents also joined in to assist.
