Animal Day at Hornsey Rise

The children at our Hornsey Rise site recently had some very interesting visitors: an owl, a snake, a cockroach and a salamander. After spending time learning more about them and handling them, the children did work that was inspired by their time with the animals.

Planting at Hornsey Rise

The children at Hornsey Rise have started planting new vegetables in the garden at their site. Planting included Lamb’s Lettuce, Spring and Winter Green Cabbage, Turnips, Kale, Red Russian Kale, Cavolo Nero, Borecole, Broad Beans, and Spring Onions. We’re eager to see the garden as the plants start growing!
