Some of the children from Hampstead Elementary visited the Argentine Embassy in London to discuss the country’s position on whaling and protecting the oceans as part of their research and preparation for the Model Montessori United Nations 2105 that will be held in the month of May in Rome, Italy.
The children organised the visit themselves, including phoning the Embassy to arrange the appointment. The Ambassador was away and could not make the appointment, but her staff received the children in the Ambassador’s office, where they spent almost an hour talking about Argentina and answering their questions.
