Co-financed and supported by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union
The Maria Montessori Institute was pleased to participate in the Montessori Adolescent Programme Inspiration (MAPI) project which concluded at the Prague congress in July 2017. This project was supported from the EU programme for education, youth and sport: Erasmus+.
The project resulted in 3 outputs which include the creation of an inventory of adolescent programmes within Europe, creating the methodology to start up Montessori Adolescent Educational Programmes and the creation of an internet platform for sharing the results of the methodological work. This free platform –http://montessoriadolescent.net/ is available not only for the Montessori community but also for any specialists working with young people.
The MMI was one of the 6 partnering organisations, along with the Association Montessori Internationale, The Montessori Place Brighton, Montessoriskolan Lära för Livet from Sweden, the Montessori-Initiative Widen from Austria, and Montessori skoly Andilek from the Czech Republic who worked on this project together.
