MMI is offering a unique professional development workshop on supporting dyslexia in the Montessori prepared environment, presented by AMI Elementary Trainer, Alison Awes.
Children with dyslexia need sequential, multi-sensory and explicit experience with the sounds and symbols of our language to read fluently. A richly prepared environment provides a plethora of language experiences for children. This workshop will cover characteristics of dyslexia and how to support the dyslexic child in a Montessori classroom.
The workshop will be held op 25th March 2017 at the MMI’s Hampstead premises and is open to anyone with experience working in a Montessori environment with children.
