THE TWO YEAR-OLD IN THE CHILDREN’S HOUSE

Since nursery funding became available for two-year-olds, more and more of us are trying to incorporate this younger child into the Children’s House.

Have you been trying to do this and encountered many challenges? Have you tried several approaches but are still not sure about what works best?

Two-year-old children can be very different to three-year olds. It is not just simply a matter of treating them like younger 3 year-old children.

Heidi Philippart, AMI trainer for the 0-3 level, will share her insights into the psychology of the two-year-old, and reflect on the merits and downfalls of the different possible approaches that can be taken when welcoming them into the Children’s House.
