Do you organise teaching practice as part of the AMI Diploma course?
Yes, teaching practice is scheduled in schools run by AMI qualified teachers.
Do I need a visa to study on the AMI Diploma Course?
If you are applying for one of our courses and are a non-UK national, it is important that you ensure you have an appropriate visa or immigration permission for studying in the UK. You can find out further information on our international students page. The Maria Montessori Institute is registered as a Student Visa Sponsor.

Where is the training located?
Most of our in-person courses are at our Training Centre at 41 Riding House Street, London, W1W 7BE. We also offer some courses online.

Do you offer help in finding a job after completion of the Diploma course?
AMI Diploma holders are sought after for employment both in the UK and internationally. We advertise jobs at the Maria Montessori School on our Current Vacancies webpage where you can also find links to AMI and Montessori Society job listings. We share details of school vacancies and other external vacancies with our students.
What is the difference between the full-time one year and the full-time two year Diploma course?
The two-year full-time Diploma course offers additional study to help students to deepen their understanding. It is suitable for students who need more time to assimilate information and for those who simply wish to take more time to make a deeper study. Additional teaching practice is also offered.
