Our Teacher Training Options
You can choose to study one of our early years teacher training courses, or our AMI 6-12 Diploma to teach primary (elementary) aged children. 90% of our graduates are in a job within 3 months of graduation or less.
AMI Diploma 3-6
In-depth Montessori practice and theory for the 3-6 years stage of development – courses start every September.
- Train in London over 1 year (intensive) or over 2 years in the daytime or evening (part-time) or via our Degree Route
- Become a qualified AMI Montessori Children’s House teacher
- Ellie Kempley full fee scholarship – applications open to UK students

Degree Route
Take our Foundation Degree in Montessori Pedagogy (3-6) and you will also gain the AMI Diploma 3-6. You could access Student Loans for this course. UK students only.
- Train in London over 2 years – optional third year to gain a BA degree
- Become a qualified AMI Montessori Children’s House teacher and gain a degree from UEL

AMI Diploma 0-3 (Assistants to Infancy)
In-depth Montessori practice and theory for the 0-3 years stage of development – courses run every other year.
- Train in London over 2 summers
- Become qualified to work in an AMI Montessori Nido or Infant Community or with parents
