Do you organise teaching practice as part of the AMI Diploma course?
Yes, teaching practice is scheduled in schools run by AMI qualified teachers.
Do I need a visa to study on the AMI Diploma Course?
If you are applying from outside the EU you will require a visa to study here. You can find out further information on our applying from outside the EU page. The Maria Montessori is registered as a Tier 4 Sponsor.
How can I find out more about the courses?
We run Training Information Sessions at our training centre, click here for a list of upcoming dates and how to register. If you are unable to attend any of the training information session dates, you can contact us directly to make an appointment to visit us. AMI Diploma holders are sought after for employment both in the UK and internationally. We advertise jobs in the UK on our jobs page and international opportunities are shared with students at the Training Centre.
What is the difference between the full-time one year and the full-time two year Diploma course?
The two-year full-time Diploma course offers additional study to help students to deepen their understanding. It is suitable for students who need more time to assimilate information and for those who simply wish to take more time to make a deeper study. Additional teaching practice is also offered.
