What are the course fees for the AMI Diploma?

Can you pay in instalments for the Diploma Courses?
Yes, payment is accepted in 2 instalments. For details see fees page.

Do you organise teaching practice as part of the AMI Diploma course?
Yes, teaching practice is scheduled in schools run by AMI qualified teachers

Do I need a visa to study on the AMI Diploma Course?
If you are applying from outside the EU you will require a visa to study here. Please see the UKBA website for further information about how to apply. The Maria Montessori is a Tier 4 Sponsor with Highly- trusted Status.

What are the hours of the course?
The Full-time one year course starts 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm, term time only
The Part-time course is 6pm-8.30pm Tuesday and Thursdays and alternate Saturdays 10am – 5pm term time only
The Assistants to Infancy and Elementary Diploma courses are in modular formats.
The Assistants Course is a 60 hour course which is delivered in a range of different formats.

Do you offer help in finding a job after completion of the Diploma course?
AMI Diploma holders are sought after for employment both in the UK and internationally. We advertise jobs in the UK on our website and international opportunities are advertised on our jobs page.

What is the difference between the full-time one year and the full-time two year Diploma course?
The two-year full-time Diploma course offers additional study to help students to deepen their understanding. It is suitable for students who need more time to assimilate information and for those who simply wish to take more time to make a deeper study. Additional teaching practice is also offered.
