We are excited to announce we will offer an English Mandarin (Chinese) Montessori Bilingual Programme at our Notting Hill site from September 2022. Following increased interest around the world in incorporating a second language into the AMI Montessori programme, Mandarin language development will be integrated into the daily life of the school. Children will receive a rich foundation for language in both English and Mandarin in our spacious and light W11 Children’s House for 3-6 years.
An AMI trained Montessori Mandarin Teacher will work in partnership with our Lead Teacher to implement a model Montessori Bilingual Programme and introduce the Montessori materials and presentations in Mandarin. The children will have the opportunity to engage with the Children’s House presentations in both languages and to build a foundation in understanding and speaking Mandarin during a period of development in which the children are absorbing language and their environment with an impressive ease.
