Application & Deposit
A non refundable registration fee of £75 + £15 VAT is payable when registering for a school place.
An acceptance deposit of £975 is payable on acceptance of a place at the school. This will be refunded when the pupil leaves the School, subject to the circumstances set out in the Terms and Conditions. Parents are not deemed to have accepted the offer of a place until the acceptance deposit has been paid and the acceptance form signed and returned. Failure to pay an acceptance deposit will result in the withdrawal of the offer.
General terms
Parents are required to give at least one whole term’s notice of any intention to withdraw the pupil from the School. Otherwise a whole term’s fees in lieu will be required.
Payment of school fee invoices is due on or before the first day of each term.
Fees include membership of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).
Early Education Funding (EEF)
Early Education Funding for 3 and 4 year olds (“15 hours”) may be available from the Local Authority at some of our school sites. This funding is only for the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. Fees are payable for any additional hours your child attends and for our School’s specialist Montessori education. We will automatically claim this funding at the appropriate time for parents and it will be reflected on your termly fee invoice. Parents should inform us if their child attends another school/nursery and is already in receipt of funding.
A child qualifies for the EEF a term AFTER their third birthday until the beginning of the term AFTER their fifth birthday – i.e. before they reach compulsory school age. For example, if your child turned 3 in January 2023, the funded hours will apply from April 2023.
Please contact the School Administrator if you require further details, email: schools@mariamontessori.org.
