7 Tips to Help You Afford Montessori Teacher Training

Thinking of teacher training with us but not sure if you can afford it? Did you know you could:

    • Pay the course fees in instalments throughout the course
Students can pay over the duration of their study with payments split into 4 fee payments.
    • Spread the course fees over 2 years
With our 2 year daytime and evening course options, you can spread payments over 2 years of study. Fees are paid in 4 instalments averaging £114 per week for 3-6 Diploma courses starting in the 2023-24 academic year.
    • Take our degree route and get student loan funding
Our degree route (open to UK students) means you could access student loans to study.
    • Commute to our Central London training centre and save on accommodation costs
Students commute from outer London and locations such as like Oxford, Birmingham and Brighton. If you are on a 2 year course, you will only need to be at our centre 3 times a week.
    • Do some paid work while training
Although our courses are very demanding, it is possible to have a job while training. This is particularly the case for our 2 year daytime and evening courses. Some students on our evening course have even maintained full-time jobs while studying. (Please note those with student visas are not able to work.)
    • Apply for financial assistance
As a charity we offer bursaries to reduce fees for those in extreme financial need. Our fund for this is very limited but please contact us if you would like to be considered.
    • Enjoy great career prospects when you graduate
90% of our graduates are in a job within 3 months or less and salaries are competitive. AMI-trained teachers are in high demand and our graduates will be counted as qualified members of staff at all UK settings. We regularly employ our graduates at our own school on 5 sites in London.
