Since launching our Montessori Adolescent Programme at the Maria Montessori School in September 2023, one of the projects the adolescents have worked on has been to build a garden in which they also learn how to grow food.
The adolescents have been involved in every step of the process, from initial concept to bringing this project into reality. From drawing plans and creating a 3D model to installing the vegetable beds and planting herbs in the greenhouse to reaping the end products and preparing them to sell, eat or share.
