Overview

One of the biggest challenges facing parents today is supporting their children’s emotional resilience. This course is especially for parents of children aged under six and will include both theory and practical strategies to support children’s well-being, resilience and behavioural responses.

The obstacles to children’s development are rapidly changing all the time, and this course will enable parents to use Montessori approaches to support their children as well as findings from the latest research in this area.

“It is interesting to notice that where life is simple and natural and where the children participate in the adult’s life, they are calm and happy.”

The Montessori method deeply considers children's holistic development, including their psychological growth and fosters independence, resilience and creative thinking. Adults adopting a Montessori approach dedicate significant time to observing children and understanding their developmental needs and motivations. Modern neuroscientific research further enhances our understanding of children and how to best meet their needs.
