One of the biggest challenges facing parents today is supporting their emotional resilience of their children. This short online course with Sarah Emerson will bring together the Montessori approach and contemporary understanding of emotional development to help parents support children’s emotional well-being.
“It is interesting to notice that where life is simple and natural and where the children participate in the adult’s life, they are calm and happy.”
Maria Montessori, The 1946 London Lectures
The course is especially for parents of children under six years. It will include both theory and practical strategies to support children’s well-being, resilience and behavioural responses. The obstacles to children’s development are rapidly changing all the time, and this course will enable parents to understand and reflect on Montessori approaches to support children. The course incorporates the latest research in this area.
