This adolescent Montessori online course provides a foundation in the Montessori theory and approach for working with adolescents (young people aged 12-18 years).
“If puberty is on the physical side a transition from an infantile to an adult state, there is also, on the psychological side, a transition from the child who has to live in a family, to the man who has to live in society.”
Maria Montessori, From Childhood to Adolescence
Lecture topics focus on understanding the developmental needs of the adolescent and the components of a Montessori adolescent programme. The course provides a vision of a Montessori adolescent community which participants can apply in their unique communities.
